1. Recruitment of Employees
This one is the most important role of HR in any company.This involves
selecting the right candidates having the skillset as per the company
requirement. It also involves identifying the candidates with the right
interpesonal skills and attitude necessary to fit into the company.
2. Motivating Staff
Another main function of HR department is to continuosly evaluate the
perfomance of the staff and keep motivating the staff.This is to
make sure employees are happy and content. It also involves giving feedback
to the employees about their job performance as well as performance in the
team which involves relations with colleagues and right nature and attitude.
3. Good organisational culture
Maintaining office discipline is fundamental to the success of any
given organization and the HR Managers are responsible to make sure that
the employees are conforming to the office discipline. In doing so,
HR Managers often have to deal with employees who are habitually late,
take too many days off, spend too much time socializing with other employees
,fail to perform ,misbehave and mistreat the colleagues.
4. Making and Implementing Policies
The HR Department has to constantly review the existing company policies,
and make appropriate changes to it from time to time, as well as introduce
new strategies and policies to cater to the growing demands of any company.
These policies help in maintaining the smooth functioning of an organization and
ensure that the interests of both the company and the employees are safe guarded.
